Jeff Ramert (pictured) & Stephanie Ramert
Jeff developed his passion for gardening at a young age and has been close to the industry most of his life. His grandfather owned the Solo Serve Nursery’s in San Antonio that later became Wolfe Nursery, and young Jeff spent his free time working there during high school. Jeff and Stephanie meet in college and graduated from The University of North Texas in the 1990s. Before purchasing the garden center, Stephanie was a real estate broker and helped to develop several neighborhoods in the San Antonio area.
In 1997, Jeff and Stephanie married and moved to Round Rock so that he could take a job at Dell Computer. Jeff would leave Dell in 2000 to take a job with Wolfe Nursery in their IT department. In late 2001, Stephanie left her real estate job to help Jeff start Round Rock Garden Center. They opened the doors to plant lovers all around Texas on August 7, 2002.
